Goodnight all my friends! There will be an adventure story soon about Yellowstone! It’s a place of magic and wonder! Off to the Tetons then Idaho! Hope you’ll come along for the ride! (at Yellowstone Natl Pk)
Day 9: Yellowstone, Wyoming! This place is like being on another planet! It has almost everything from any other national park like canyons as big as the Grand Canyon, waterfalls like Niagara, prairies with wildlife, lakes, rivers and more! All that, coupled with strange boiling mud pots, microbes, geysers, volcanos and more! If there is one place that should be on your list to visit this is it!
Tomorrow we are off tool the Grand Teton Mountains and Craters of the Moon in Idaho. We’ve decided to add a few more days onto our trip to take in a few more sights 😎 (at Yellowstone Natl Park)
Day 8: (yesterday, we didn’t have cell reception) We had a long drive from Montana and Glacier National Park to Wyoming and Yellowstone. Along the way we stopped at a Ghost town and walked the eerie streets of an old Gold Rush town from the 1860s. We saw some strange things, some say the place is haunted. But we can neither confirm or deny……oooouuu….spooky! (at Virginia City Historic District (Virginia City, Montana))
Oh and wait!! I forgot to mention, I also met a few new friends on my adventure on the mountain! They too were in search of the Hidden Lake! (at Hidden Lake - Logan Pass, Montana)
Day 7: Montana and Glacier National park have so many adventures! I thought South Dakota was fun but if your a nature junkie, Montana is the place to be.
We spent the day in Glacier park and saw lakes so crystal clear, they glittered. We drove on a road called Going to the Sun which was so fitting because you are driving up the mountains. We played in several waterfalls and climbed up rocks and through mountains. We saw awe-inspiring Glaciers that are melting and will be gone by 2030. We hiked to the top of the mountain on Logan’s Pass and saw mountain goats, rams, and even a bear in the distance. Hidden away were the most beautiful lakes you could ever imagine with deep blue and green colors. Which of course were surrounded by mountains that once used to be covered by sea (information is courtesy of Orphin monkey).
Then to end a perfect day we watched an awe-inspiring sunset.
Tomorrow we will be off to Wyoming again, this time to see Old Faithful at Jellystone! (Yellowstone). Hope you’ll come along! (at Going-to-the-Sun Road)
Day 7: Today was a blast! We took a road to the sun in search of the hidden lake that holds stories of the past.
We climbed waterfalls to their tops, we hiked along cliffs and still did not stop.
We stumbled upon a Glacier named Jackson, and then made our way through Logan’s pass.
We crossed Billy goats and there it was at last! At the very tippy top we found the hidden lake. This lake has seen many lifetimes, its old it holds many stories of natures past.
Montana thanks for the memories that will last forever! (at Logan Pass Glacier National Park)
Day 6: We explored Theodore Roosevelt National park. We learned it was under the sea long ago and the large cannonballs were formed by minerals brought together by the water flow. Then off we went to a trading post, with Orphin as our host, we learned how the native and white man traded.
Then, it was Montana bound we go! In the long car ride, we played I spy in the clouds, pretended we were storm chasers, watched the rolling hills change into rising mountains, and soon, we will watch the stars light up the sky.
Good Bye day 6! (at Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site)
Day 6: Adventuring with Orphin in North Dakota. If ya need to know something, just ask Orphin (Orphin reads everything…yes, everything)
Day 6: Good Mornin’ from Theodore Roosevelt National Park! Time to go exploring! Then we hit the road to Montana!
Wow! It’s amazIng here! Looks so perfect, it almost looks fake! (at Theodore Roosevelt National Park)
Day 5: This day was a blast! We Adventured through the days of the Wild, Wild, West in Wyoming! We saw outlaws and the sacred Indian grounds called Devils Tower, then ended it by watching the sunset in North Dakota! Wyoming, we’re not through yet! I’ll be back…for now, North Dakota is next. I wonder what gems we’ll find as we drive through the Peace Garden State. (at Teddy Roosevelt National Park.)
